Loser's remorse would be high on my list. They have taken that a step farther with the "non-disclosure" argument, trying to convince the public that Trump pulled a fast one by basing it on his past practices. They either will or will not be disappointed when Mueller's inquiry is finished - if it ever is. This may end up with some process crimes tied to questionable financial dealings by people associated with his campaign i.e. Flynn, Manafort and TBD. The larger issue IMO is the disinformation campaign by Russia. I'm not sure they really cared who won, but just that they could create chaos in our political system. Either way it would end with "damaged goods" in the WH, no matter who won. If Clinton had won we might be experiencing the same or worse. If we look at all the scrutiny of her for the last few years, it's reasonable to assume it would have continued if she won. If it actually occurred and there was intent on their part, it worked. Besides all the investigations it has caused doubt and division in our political system, our media, and each other. It has also caused the POTUS to be under the microscope and caused great resistance to his legislative agenda. All of which are good for our foes. Everyone is so focused on the politics of it all that it impedes any meaningful progress. There are also a lot of very wealthy people that liked the status quo and they have the resources to control the media and the overall dialogue. Not saying any of this is fact, just opinion.

LTC (Join to see) - For sure. I made note of that in a piece on media bias in the last few days. Besides fear and loathing over the election there is the "make him fail" effort. They're still team-building in WH but have great opposition against their agenda. Some from within their own ranks.

CWO3 (Join to see) - I agree. But I think Mr. Trump purposefully took the red sash and is proudly waving it around to distract all the jackasses out there and they have taken the bait. Regulations are being stripped away and the economy is starting to pick up a new gear. While that is good for us it is also bad for the merchants of Dependency. I am going to plot this out on a map, circling all Blue Cities, then doing a deep dive in their statistics like employment, crime, prison rates, birth rates, home ownership, and other factors of stability. I think the Center of Gravity of the Democrat Party are the Big Blue Metro areas. If prosperity comes to these areas of historical Democrat control then we are truly seeing a transformational shift in politics. I am going to watch the Infrastructure Bill. That is a direct attack on solving issues deep in Democrat controlled areas. I think we will see a hard fight. The Dems will laud platitudes that they agree with infrastructure improvements but then they will ask for new state of the art Abortion Mills to be built for example as a way to rally support away from the bill. I could always be wrong.

LTC (Join to see) - I'd say you're pretty close. Not sure if they're going after taxes or infrastructure first. Both should yield jobs. Infrastructure sooner, but we've heard that "shovel ready projects" line before. We've also heard the "trickle down" on taxes before. It's a R majority now and that changes things. Tax changes take longer to bear fruit, much like CPI lags PPI by approx. 6 months. If tax reform even has the appearance of further lining pockets of wealthy and enterprises, it's DOA from the start. With less than 8 months till IRS filing deadline that puts them in the hurry mode. They may have to go nuclear with 50 vice 60 in Senate to get it through that quickly and with 2018 looming that's risky. Due to strong gerrymandering most aren't that concerned about 2018 on the right though. Most jobs so far have been low pay i.e. service sector. Manufacturing such as construction equipment also lags the physical infrastructure construction work and those are better paying jobs. Construction is temporary depending on scope of the projects. Equipment demands will likely not trigger new plants, but will have effects on raw materials and more man-hours or additional hiring.

PO3 Bob McCord - totally agree. However, food stamp budget is going down, welfare or generational welfare is going down, I think the phone program has continued and I agree that needs to be eliminated, crime and punishment is now a political weapon used by the Left. Now the focus is not on the crime or the victim. The MSM now focuses on the incarceration rate? Who gives a flip. Commit a crime and do the time. Now the SJW are the ones that need to be investigated. But, I get your comment and I agree. I do think we can find solutions to each.

"Progressive Left" sounds contradictory because "progressive" means "forward", and the left's ideology represents no progress. The left is not just fighting the president, is trying to take them down and get the power ASAP. They refuse the idea of they're not longer running and ruling the show, now they have to see how this country is trying to get back to their former greatness. As we know, left is full of incompetents with PhD's, Magisters and a lot of useless university titles but they don't know who to start an enterprise, make business or create jobs.
