With a like-think process may be a deterrent.. that ally goes away and the coup machine goes into getting set up again because it’s mechanization has changed.. leaders have retired or some workers been found out by the coup.. worried they may have been revealed they go into hiding, distance themselves from acquaintances .. (possible loss of trust or fear of being observed)..
