This news was a blast from the past. I had visited Aruba on a cruise in 1992. I was saddened that the tropical island paradise was most likely a murder and body dumping location.
Hopefully the remains are Natalee's and that evidence will lead to her killer and that her family ad friend will finally have closure.
Background: Natalee Ann Holloway was an American teenager who made international news after she vanished on May 30, 2005, while on a high school graduation trip to Aruba, a Dutch island in the Caribbean.

A major break in the case of Natalee Holloway after her father reveals recently discovered human remains may belong to the missing teen.
On Wednesday, Dave Holloway and a private investigator said they found remains which are now undergoing DNA testing.
They were found behind a house in Aruba 12 years after Natalee disappeared while on the island for vacation.
Holloway said they were working with an informant who gave them information of the number one suspect in the case, Joran Van Der Sloot.
It could take several months to complete DNA testing, but the father says all he wants is closure."
