I found this video and both my father and I are veterans ourselves; Army and Navy respectively. As a certified, licensed, insured, and bonded Residential Contractor we would love to be able to build communities like this all over Florida. We have had this idea for a few months now and have some plans put together but not all of the pieces yet. We would need charity, local government, non-profits, news channels, marketing, and other entities to make this happen. We are licensed state wide in Florida with over 5,500 homeless vets (10% nationally) as of 2013 and second only to California. Thank you! I hope soon we will be able to turn the thought into reality! We are apart of the Jacksonville Real Estate Association and I'm am hoping to be able to find an investor or someone that has property through there. Fingers crossed!
