Letters of Reprimand for 4 Admirals? Really? and what effect does this have on an officer already well above the reach s/he ever thought it possible to attain? For and Ensign or a Jg that might be a real punishment, for a Chief he will never make Senior for sure in today's Navy. I'm sort of confused by the forfeiture of half a month’s pay for one sailor who confessed to slipping Francis the Navy Flag Roster of admirals. Anyone can go online or find a Blue Book and get that information, but we fined someone for giving it away?
Yes, the double standard is still alive and well in the Navy as evidenced by this article. The days of free lunches with buyers and suppliers are long gone, but some people have not gotten that message and still, many insist on a two martini lunch. It does not start in Boot Camp, I doubt it starts in the Academy, so where do we go to fix it. Obviously, it seems to be ingrained at the top and that is where we need to flush it out.

I received much worse for a lot less. There is no fairness in the military judicial system as far as standards of discipline for similar crimes.
