Refuse to pay without a court decision saying that the tax is lawful and you pay the price, Play tupid games and win stupid prizes. If it was an illegal tax an injunction would be easy to obtain

LMAO! So Seattle wants to do what the Federal and State government isn't willing to do; that being tax the rich. Hilarious indeed; I'm sure so many lower and middle class income workers are so upset. But I guess 2.25% is a lot to someone that makes $250K or $500K annually. Haha! Be interesting to see if any other cities with high income populations or states follow their lead or condemn Seattle's actions.

CPO (Join to see) The correct legal response is for a citizen who is impacted, a Seattle resident who falls under this income tax, to pay the tax into an escrow account specifically set aside to pay the tax if the outcome of the lawsuit is in favor of the City of Seattle.
Go Ahead and file suit against the City of Seattle against the income tax as unconstitutional under Washington State law, as an income tax in State Court. They may be able to file under Federal District Court under Fifth Amendment "Takings" Clause, only because Washington State does not allow an income tax, only property tax.
We need citizens to challenge stupid laws!

I hope Everyone that is effected sues them. Sadly the out come will be the City will lose, the People will lose money defending their right to keep their money and the Lawyers will make bank. This idiocy the left is pushing... the criminal behavior we are seeing across the board needs to be publicly addressed.

LTC John Shaw Agree that the correct steps to fight if a person disagrees are legal or political. Just refusing to pay is going to lead one into legal deep kimchi.
