Based on a California law enacted in 2014, SB 719A would create a so-called “Extreme Risk Protection Order” (ERPO) that could be obtained by a law enforcement officer, family member, or household member in an ex parte hearing to deprive someone of their Second Amendment rights without due process of the law.
The ex parte aspect of the law means the bill does not require the gun owner to be present for part of the hearing in which the judge decides whether guns should be taken from him.

China was a great Democratic country, fought on the allied side through two world wars. Communists/left took my grandfather's business and land after the rebellion in 1949. I came here with nothing 20 some years ago, and I am an Army officer. Work and you can earn everything in this great country. Take and be lazy, you will make everyone poor.

SFC Kelly Fuerhoff - I also have a question for you. Have you ever been arrested or held against your will and not know why or when you might be released? Or all of the forgoing because of something you said? It is "due process" that protects you and your property from unlawful seizure by agents of the government. If you hate guns just change the affected goods. Autos kill more people every year than firearms. What if some well meaning idiot in 2030 decides that people aren't responsible enough to drive any longer? Mass transit will be woefully inadequate to the task in 2030 however the elites who are really pushing this transportation ban are exempted from the law because they can afford limousines and professional chauffeurs (sort of like Mike Bloombergs bodyguards). Hopefully, that should make these issues more prescient for you. None of the issues in the real or made up examples above have anything to do with safety. It is about power and control by a small number of individuals exempt from the rules they have forced upon others.
