Capt Dwayne Conyers - Yes, at the beginning of his Presidency he states that he would not take the salary of the Presidency, instead he will take the postion not paid in taxes to the US Government and State and donate it to a charity or something else. Capt Dwayne Conyers - Good Question, but at this point what other President has donated their salary back to the American People - I'm sure there has been one. Just the fact that his taxes comign out go back into the system of our government (like your's and mine), and then he takes the net and donates or gives it back to the Government is a pretty good campaign promise kept. Whether you like the guy or not he's keeping his promises. That in itself is a change in Washington, in my opinion. Every President is hated by somebody. I just respect the office, the individual there (whoever it has been) because they were my Commander-In-Chief and I get to go all the way back to President Carter (not a well liked individual either). It is what it is and It isn't going to change until he's voted out, so It I think its time for the people that don't care for him, just like those who didn't care for past Presidents to move on with their lives. If this President does something good for the nation, the military, whatever, give him credit and take it away when he does something bad. Just like we have for all of our Presidents. We need to grow up as a nation - not referring to you Dwayne at all!
