I am not sure if PTSD is the lesser of evils, but I do know that if enjoyed doing the the things we are trained to do to another human being then you do need help. I think our American morals make us more Susceptible to PTSD, we are taught to respect life. Hadji, not so much.
It would be hard to believe that anyone who went through what he did would not be battling PTS. Those are extraordinary circumstances and no matter how resiliant one's mind and body may be, there wil be lingering effects somewhere down the road.
