Honestly, I'm indifferent to it. It's what I signed the contract to do. I knew when I came in that there was a very high probability that I would be sent out to fight and serve my country (regardless of what the restless folk name as reasons for our presence there). So if I go, then I go. If not, then I don't.

I see the US having a presence in Afghan Rugistan for multiple decades at a minimum. The county is slow taking over its own security and the national government is shaky at best. If the US withdrawals, there's a high likelihood of another Iraq situation, where the vacuum was created for rebel groups to evolve and advance against a security force and government that weren't ready.

I agree with SPC Chris Benson, we've been there 16 years so let's define "winning" in Afghanistan at this point. Things that could have been done to "win" are likely in the past. So long as Pakistan borders them and has an interest opposite of ours, we will have issues there.
