I would have to say that the paint job is an excellent way to remember the personnel that gave up their tomorrows for us to have our today's.

USAF's planes can't fly and they don't have maintainers to repair them. Where would 'they' find someone to do a paint job like that? LTC (Join to see) Pretty is cool and costly.

I wanna see some red tails. Rather then paint em, wrapping is a 'cost effective' measure and easier than paint to remove when the cool and wow factor wears off. Can they be painted Abrams green, or MRAP tan? How about a root beer wrap to celebrate drinking beer....something we all do as soon as we leave theatre? If they're gonna waste my tax money, at least let me pick a color. OHH!!! Paint em Wonder Woman clear, and give the pilot a yellow rope!!!

Somehow I think the wrapping would peel off during first flight. Great idea for a static display though.
