They taste like soft shell crab. I've had them many times. Some of the ladies mix them with soup base before frying them and they're even better.

Capt Dwayne Conyers - No one likes soggy spider. I hired a family who lived outside the compound I was working on to cook our lunches for us. Nothing gets more "authentic". They always fed us well and the food was always outstanding. The soup they made for me was made with rice grass and snails. Good stuff!
