General - You make a mockery of the Phrase DUTY - HONOR - COUNTRY. To blame others for your failures is the lowest form of leadership and the highest firm of arrogance and narcissism. When I was a 2LT I was informed by my Brigade CSM that "...if you have to tell someone that you are an officer you aren't..." You Sir are no Officer. You are a DISGRACE to the Officer Corps, your Oath of Office and as a man. You have no scruples and are devoid of honor. If it was up to me you would never be allowed to retire.

Hi, I am going to willingly enlist in an organization that punishes not only adulterous behavior, but also relationships between Juniors and Seniors. Then I'm going to do all those things, and say that I couldn't help myself.
C'mon now... let's be real. You knew you were in the wrong. You got caught. End of story. The very least he could have done was divorce his wife. Forfeit all those BAH/BAS checks. Then he could pursue a relationship with someone else.

To whom much is given much is expected. The maximum effective range of a good excuse is zero meters.
