I saw this on TV. Reminds me of the Midwest. How frequent are tornadoes in Canada?

That is horrific. I remember the Super Outbreak of 1974. In the beginning of that April we had tornadoes and hail in Akron that cost a billion dollars in damage in current money. Every house in Mogadore, just outside of Akron, looked like someone hit all the houses with a ball peen hammer. My family and I were hunkered down in a basement. The hail was golf ball to baseball sized. Xenia, Ohio was wiped from the map. The tornado outbreak covered 13 states in twenty-four hours.

I'm sorry you went through this Dave period I am happy though I'm too far away from the Rockies to be worried about a major earthquake and I'm from Southern California. We won't have any floods and the Ice Age was 10000 years ago. 10000 years ago I would have been under 500 1000 ft of ice. So tornadoes with the only real thing I worry about here being in the high plains of Alberta period you may have seen of the flooding in Calgary last because Calgary is right on the river just like many cities are right at the level of the Mississippi River and so if the Mississippi flood so does the city. Thank you for your scary account and recollection
