I think people would be floored if they knew the true extent of the contributions made by women in communications, electronics, and computers.

I give a lot of credit to the women who did the factory work in WWII, as well as ferrying aircraft, espionage, research, and in Russia, as combat pilots and snipers, among other "men's" jobs. I think, though, that Henry Ford was using assembly lines well before WWI.
