Brought one of those back from A T one year, tossed it out in the field next to the house, it went off, mother in law was washing dishes, scared the heck out of her.

I am an observer controller -trainer.(O/C-T). Back in the summer of 2004, one of those Observer controller trainers through one of those at one one of our platoons sleeping in the field cause hearing loss to an E7 since it landed about 2 feet from his bunk outside. Be careful never to throw those near people.
