POLL: Do You Think We Should Send More Troops To Afghanistan?

MOAB first.

We should never have gone in in the first place.....it is a "Lose / Lose" scenario.... We should have obliterated the Al Queda training camp..... destroyed every living thing in a three mile radius and walked away..... trying to "save" Afghanistan and make it a democracy.... beyond not being our job ..... it is impossible......
Foreign nations supported America's fight for freedom but they did not win the war for us....we won our freedom ourselves..... and the Afghan people must fight and win theirs the same way....
More troops....to what end.... another 15 years of wasted American lives....

Depends on the mission. I think over time, DoD will request more troops on ground but we also have multiple battlefields happening again. And to try to figure not only the financial commitment but personnel would have to substantially increase. In my opinion, those two simultaneously will be a challenge. We've been there and done that before and it didn't bode too well for the military or nation. But I don't make that call, I just carry out the orders, so leaders at the Pentagon will need to address that pressing issue. But great question though Sir.
