There are 3 or 4 more on the subject....I just grabbed this one. That said, this is probably not a good thing in ongoing negotiations with China about North Korea........If we end up going it alone with A possible hostile State with China?

A retired Colonel little birdie told me the reason China is upset just because the radar system attached to the thaad can see all the way into China so they feel they're vulnerable since we can see what they're doing on their launches or telemetry as well.what do you say to this PO1 William "Chip" Nagel ?

THAAD shouldn't have to be in South Korea to protect it. We are getting embarrassed by our failure to use THAAD. I doubt that it even works. Please prove me wrong by shooting the next one down

SSG Edward Tilton - I agree or even be better if the South Koreans with their ages destroyers shoots one down because I don't think Japan has the capability there Patriots are just for low-level only.

We saw this coming. As tensions rise, China paints US as aggressor on the peninsula in order to maintain goodwill with NK. Add that S. Korea isn't too happy with growing tensions and talks with them on the sideline as spectators, we need to tread lightly. The missile shield isn't going anywhere unless S. Korea tells us to leave.

Alan K. - Missile defense and artillery is critical over there. I don't think I've seen THAAD anywhere else other than Korea and FT Bliss. Yeah you're right. It is very fluid right now.

Alan K. let's hope China is smarter than that. They don't want to get into a pissing contest with us. We stop trade tomorrow and they go under, not the United States.
