And I always thought the Army belonged to my old platoon sergeant SFC Aubrey Smith,he was forever saying my quadrangle,my barracks,my platoon bay,my guard posts ect,ect the only two things I think he would not touch was the mess hall, no one fools with the Mess sergeant and of course the grass ,we all know who that belongs to!

You learn not to mess ( no pun intended) with the supply SGT or the pay officer also..

SFC William Hawes -That brings up a question,do the enlisted troops still report for pay like we did in the old days,actually going into room with the pay officer behind a desk and report for pay?or do they just get a check or a bank statement?
