I think the addition of a Mark 41 Vertical Launch System would add a great capability to the Navy as we buy more of these ships. The same idea as having missile barges with the new NetCentric platforms the more missiles the better. Also I was saw recently you can never have enough Tomahawks floating around out there.

Boy there are a lot of LCS haters on RP. Remember what these replaced, The FFG had no capabilities similar size gun and a lot deeper draft. The LCS with the mission module concept is going to be very capable and updating a module is going to be seamless compared to upgrading a weapon system on a ship.

Ugh. More money down the drain. These ships are best at nothing, and good at very little. When a tugboat cracks your hull, what's an enemy round going to do?
