I have known many who have been stricken with Lyme disease TSgt Joe C. which is debilitating auto-immune disease.
My wife was stricken with Lyme disease when we lived at our old house. It was ironic because my wife did not like to be out in the yards and walking through tall grasses where dear ticks live. I loved to work in the yard before my back problems made it too difficult.
Lyme disease is confirmed by a western blot test which requires a number of positive blot results to diagnose the Lyme.
In 2010, my darling wife went through antibiotics, pic line treatments to get the medication close to the heart, etc. She had fluid drained out of her swollen knee which caused her significant pain.
By the grace of God, HE healed my wife of Lyme disease after doctors and insurance had given up because from their perspectives further treatment had limited potential for improving her condition.
In 2011, God healed my wife from Lyme and He healed an unrelated scalp condition. God cares about the major changes and HE meets our desires in HIS timing.
The trauma to my God-fearing wife in her previous knee treatment makes her reluctant to get knee injections for the arthritis and lack of cartilage in that knee. We are scheduled to have those treatment for my wife at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital on April 11, 2017.
God knows how much we can bear. To God be the glory.

I know a couple people with Lyme disease. It is a very dibilitating disease. Unfortunately it is terribly misdiagnosed thus left untreated. Be aware and if you have been in a tick infested area think about Lyme if you start to feel poorly.

That and wear long sleeves & trousers while in tall grass and in a wood line. I have also heard that it is wise to search the body after being outside.
