Back in 2014, two single thirtysomething Floridians decided to try their hand at online dating.
The second Justin saw Amy’s profile photo on Match.com, he was completely smitten. She was interested in him, too. It was clear, even through their initial phone calls and texts, that the two had chemistry.
On their first date, Amy already had a gut feeling that she was meeting her future husband. “It was like I had known him my whole life,” she told PEOPLE.
The relationship was going great and marriage was inevitable. But exactly one year after their very first date, Amy and Justin made a shocking realization during a car ride.
Justin casually mentioned that he loved her name ever since he was a little boy. Why? Because in preschool, he had had a big ‘ol crush on a girl named Amy. The pair would always sit together at lunch and play games during recess. Even after 30 years, he still remembered his preschool sweetheart.
On a lark, Justin and Amy went home and asked their parents to dig up some childhood photos.
Justin’s mom handed Amy a 30-year-old picture from when he was in preschool. Amy looked closer and broke down in tears.

Thanks for sharing a wonderful true story TSgt Joe C. as preschool sweethearts Justin saw Amy became reacquainted 30 years later. Now thirty years later they are husband and wife.
There is no such thing as coincidence and it is amazing how God will bring our desires to fruition at exactly the right time.
