Well ... this occurred two and a half months ago. Lot has changed since then and the Standing Rock protesters have been dispersed, leaving their garbage, trash, and dogs behind ... and the pipeline back under construction.

Its an interesting read and without taking away from the message of danger, that Pipeline is Old, it is run by a company with a horrible safety record, and its sensors failed to detect the leak.
The NDAPL is new has been / is being built with the most advanced tec, it is being placed lower than any other Pipeline going under a River and will provide a safer transport of Oil than the current system being used. Here have a Read and tell me what one is worse? Rail or Pipe?
