Remember Henry Clay

The Great Compromiser! We used to call my 3 year old Henry Clay, because of her attempts to compromise our rules.

Very interesting history in this article. Clay is not always one of the first to come to find, but definitely a lot to learn from the political intrigues of his day.

Good info. However some of the current names mentioned I would disagree with. I like the weekly standard,however they are still kicking Bush boots. The second and third not the first. John McCain was a hero. That does not make him a great leader in Congress. Personally I wish he would retire. Congress in any form should not be subservient to the President. However this Congress has a chance to do amazing things if they will work with the President.
