The man in the story (who asked if the couple had a bomb in their luggage) is an a$s. The Paki/Indian couple should have not responded and just let it go. Both sides were in error.
As for the remark about "Trump's America" the rest of you are correct; it is irrelevant to this situation. But I would rather live in Trump's America than Obama's or Clinton's America...

why should they just let it go? If a vet was on a plane, and someone said "killed any babies today?" or "you don't have PTSD and are going to go nuts are you?" , should he just let it go? Hell, vets can't seem to let it go if they see someone wearing a piece of military clothing. But the person of another color should just shrug their shoulders and go "yuck yuck" when someone accuses them of being a terrorist because of their nationality? I don't buy that at all.

LTC (Join to see) - I agree with you. HOWEVER, the current REALITY is that you cannot and should not f*ck around aboard an aircraft or within the secure area of an airport. Period. Doing so gets you detained, questioned, booted, and potentially arrested. Outside of those two situations, yeah, take it out back and figure it out man to man.

Bottom line is two wrongs don't make a right- the guy making the bomb comment is an ass, no doubt- the couple could've refrained, again- no doubt. I don't know how the POTUS even got involved in the dialogue except that the idiot needed to verify his insecurities in his own mind. Either way, domino effect of dumbasses IMO

Funny how the same right wing posters who just cannot fathom how anyone could possibly link Trump's repeated demonization of muslims both abroad and in the US to a racist act so readily linked Obama's comments about the need to root out illegal police violence against minorities to the BLM movement and the violent protests by a small number of agitators. In fact, many said that it was Obama who was personally responsible for the divided nation we have today. But they can't wrap their arms around the possibility that after the POTUS publicly condemns muslims and says things like we need to register all of them, including US citizens, and institutes a ban that includes green card holders, and says that regular law abiding US muslims know who the bad ones are but are withholding that info from police (another lie), and that we need to put monitors in all their mosques, that some racist wouldn't feel just a little bit freer to openly express his racist comments in public. You know, something about the example coming from the top.
But I guess that only applies to liberal presidents that speak out against illegal cop activity, not conservative ones that spew racist bullshit.

This is par for the course as the Left is unable to accept reality. Most news anchors are still in denial of the election results because of their own disillusionment all must deal with their perspective.
