You know, for such supposedly 'smart' people they sure were stupid. Why would anyone think that this administration would hire them after the stunt of signing a 'never' pledge.
Paging Mr. Darwin, we have some award winners for the 'career ending' stunts for the 2016 cycle.

I've been thinking about this and have come to the belief that the NeverTrumpers are worried about more than just not getting prime jobs in the Trump administration. The article mentions that these folks work for D.C. law firms and think tanks. I'm betting that they are concerned about the federal funding they've been getting over the years drying up.

If that is the case, then they should be worried. Were it me, I wouldn't hire them either. If my line of work depended on federal funding, I sure as hell wouldn't bite the hand that feeds me-no matter how I felt about the president. So they deserve what they get.

Well they made their choice, now they have to live with it. Strange how that works.

You cant fix stupid and there is plenty of it in the political realm. These people are the opportunists who were sure Trump could not and would not win. Now when their infamy has fully exposed them they want to cry foul.
Honestly, some people have no shame. Yes, you are being blocked out of jobs. You blocked yourself out. Learn to live with the consequences of your decisions and please do so quietly.
No one wants to hear adults whine and cry.

Yeah, who knew that signing a disloyalty pledge would have negative repercussions? Back in the day, traitors had the good sense to exile themselves when their coups failed.
