I'm still not sure what Lamestream Media is other than the term used to Marginalize Media that we disagree with. As far as anyone marginalizing my contributions, that is not going to happen. I have a pretty healthy dose of Ego. I am a Member of the VFW and Legion. I sent the Executive Order for Operation El Dorado Canyon to Sixthflt. I was a key player in "Blind Mans Bluff" as an Off-Line Operator. Have a MUC for Achile Lauro. Sanitized the Messages for Iran-Contra. Was O brancher on duty for Rescue of Alfa Foxtrot 586. Worked on the ARPANET Project and Served on a Presidential Flag Ship and 2 Admirals Staff. I'm good and for the Most Part and I like Chris Hayes. I will allow him this once case of foot in mouth disease.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - I am not sure of Chris's foot in mouth is really a sign of the political cancer that reflects leadership and him trying to fit in. Regardless, I am pretty sure he was aware of it before he actually said it.

I can say that I gave up on the main stream media. I pretty much stick with vice news and daily mail now.

Vice is the best that I have ever seen. I am surprised that guys don't get killed.

"I mean besides defeating Nazism, ending the Holocaust, stopping genocide in Kosovo, protecting global trade from piracy, ending communism, ending slavery, securing our independence, killing Osama Bin Laden and distributing aid abroad after natural disasters, what have American armed forces ever done for this country?" Chris Hayes MSNBC
Oh... I don't know Chris... Maybe the military has spilled their blood and sacrificed greatly so you could run your suck like the ignorant cry baby you are.
Maybe the next time he should thank those vets that he lives in a country that protects his right to be an idiot. I suggest that if he feels the need to vomit that he open his pants and let it go.
As a journalist, my first question to Mr. Hayes would be, did you graduate kindergarten? Second question would be, can you spell Constitution?

I read that comment as highly ironic - he's listing a great number of things the military has done. I read that quote as analogous to the line of " Aside from that Mrs. Lincoln, what did you think of the play." Maybe the Chris Hayes quote above is still from the original satirical piece?

OK, I get that he actually said it. My second point, mentioned above as well, is that the listing of some of the many accomplishments of the US military (using an extensive but by no means exhaustive list) but qualifying it with "Other than..." strikes me as a clear use of irony (see: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/irony?s=t).
Irony definition, the use of words to convey a meaning that is the opposite of its literal meaning: the irony of her reply, “How nice!” when I said I had to work all weekend. See more.
