Must have a minimum of five (5) years current Electrician/Instrumentation Technician experience in an industrial environment AND have completed an Associate of Applied Science in an Electrical/Instrumentation Technician discipline or a certificate of completion in an accredited four (4) semester Electrical/Instrumentation Technician course or Military Maintenance School or Union or Company Apprenticeship.
Maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and Instrumentation while ensuring that work is in accordance with relevant codes.
Troubleshoot and repair electric motor control circuitry
Troubleshoot and repair electric relay and alarm systems
Troubleshoot and repair phased and DC electric motors
Troubleshoot and repair electrical switch-gear equipment
Install, troubleshoot and repair DC battery banks and battery chargers
Remove, install, repair and test low-voltage distribution panels
Troubleshoot and repair electrical explosion proof equipment
Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's)
Test, troubleshoot and replace electric lighting systems
Test, troubleshoot and repair AC variable frequency motor drives
Test, troubleshoot and repair Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems
Install, test and connect electrical conductors
