F-15 SG could be another plane that the USAF can upgrade even better than the Singapore Government did. The USAF currently does not have this upgraded version but it should merge the F-35 technology that is being discussed being put in the F-18 Super Hornet and add the F-15 SG to the list as well. Saudi Arabia has dozens of this type recently.

The Singapore and other Saudi Arabia have a version better than the USAF. Trump called BS on the F35 and suggested what me and others have suggested the F18 Superhornet with F35 carry-over electronics. Canada and Austrialia are going that route too!
