My comment came straight from the heart and mind, those that make high 6- 7 plus digit salaries don't deserve to be paid SS unless they have put in a sizable amount, and their retirement from serving in politics, should be based on the number of years they were in office.

SS actually has a limit on what they can take out and a limit what they pay out. the most someone can draw from a SS pension is about 2,700 a month. SS deductions are about 6.2% of your earnings, but it caps after you earn 127 K a year.

SS is not something that requires any qualification (high salaries don't deserve...) those individuals paid their money into the system just like you...in fact much more than you, on what grounds do you withhold a benefit that they paid into and their employer matched???

Very interesting article, how about we remove retirement pay from congressmen, and women that have a net worth in the 7 digit range.
