yes, this. I can't believe some people think that a single country's administration gets to decide science

The 'Dump' wants the people gone that can tell what affect something he wants to do is going to have on people(like birth defects, cancers, etc), the environment, water supplies, wildlife, food supplies, etc. All things he's had problems with in his business dealings. Watch ' You've Been Trumped'. He wants free rein to destroy anything he wants with no repercussions.

interesting article...
I hope they pin sown the reality of who is Pushing the real efforts... as an Interviewer pointed out this weekend , many of The original Climate Change Guru's, are now backing off, as they are seeing that things are not as bad as they predicted ....
remember the Loss of Polar ice by 2005 and it's still there, and Antarctica has the largest Ice shelf in over 100 years... and the Polar bears have almost tripled in numbers instead of being extinct...

CPT Alexander Grant - The article sums it up nicely at the end"

"If all the ice in West Antarctica melts and slides into the sea, it is likely to contribute several meters to sea level rise. That process is already underway, says Scambos, and may happen over the next few centuries, regardless of what is going on in the eastern highlands.

There are too many different lines of evidence and active inquiry “to let one paper hold sway,” says Scambos. The consensus view seems to be that Antarctica is experiencing melting in important ways and will likely contribute more to sea level rise in the coming centuries."

MSG Joseph Cristofaro - The letter is actually very telling... out of an agency that employs roughly 18,000 people, 49 objected back in 2012. I looked through the list of administrators, astronauts, project managers and analysts, rocket scientists, ect... and didn't see a single climate scientist.

CPT Alexander Grant The conservatives don't seem to understand the definition of "fact".

MSG Joseph Cristofaro - Facts usually consist of data which can be interpreted in more than one way. At some point however, a consensus is reached among subject matter experts in the field and it is reasonable to treat that scientific consensus as fact.

With regard to climate change the subject matter experts are called Climate Scientists, not rocket scientists, not engineers, not program analysts.

"As it stands now, the United States is responsible for paying over 40% of the entire cost." I don't think it's unreasonable for the nation responsible for pumping most of the carbon into the atmosphere to date, to cover a larger percentage of the costs than most. The countries that can not afford to pay, as a general rule, are not responsible for the most of the carbon already in the atmosphere... nor did they reap the economic benefit of cheap energy.

ISIS has as much to do with Islam as the KKK has to do with Christianity. They both use religion to justify their particular brand of evil, meanwhile the vast majority of Christians and Muslims despise what the KKK and Daesh represent. It's simply a matter of considering facts in context.

Climate change continues to accelerate and instead of responding to the crisis in time to begin mitigating the damage, we choose to elect climate change deniers.

SGT (Join to see) - The science may not be as real as the political power of the fossil fuel industry, at least not within the US.
