The White House’s claim that 800,000 manufacturing jobs were added during Obama’s presidency

Even the WaPo couldn't defend this lie. Of course the administration says it isn't fair to count from the time he arrived. You have to count from the lowest point. I am sure that is how all of us are measured at work or at school etc. Find you lowest point and measure your improvement from there.

If it was true, that is pretty bad as we need to be adding 250,000 jobs a month in a healthy economy. So do the math on 800,000 over 8 years. It's like HRC's "bold" predictions on her campaign page for less than 2% GDP growth the next 4 years. And this is why Democrats lose elections, they do not get it and are living in another reality altogether from the electorate.
