As the photos of Abu Ghraib prisoners shocked the nation this century, the photos of the dead Vietnamese at My Lai, South Vietnam shocked many people SP5 Mark Kuzinski. In both cases these exploitive photographs helped turn supporters of war against radical ISLAM and earlier war against radical and savvy communists against the war and by extension against the service members who were doing their best to serve honorably.
Thanks for mentioning me SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL

LTC Stephen F., nobody likes to see sausage being made or wars being fought. It is not a proper subject for weak stomachs.

The country has a very weak stomach in seeing the actions of real warriors fighting real enemies. The facts are that war is humanity at its absolute war. While My Lai became murder, war is extended mass executions through the power of states. By nature, all things involved with combat reek with the depravity of extended violence.
