I'm not going to do anyone the insult of trying to claim I never went a wee bit over the speed limit (or more than a wee bit) but wow, that's dangerous. I am impressed that the car could go that fast.

PO1 John Crafton - this IS a street car. Has every option to include AC. That's part of the rules in the class this Fox ran. It has to be insured, full interior, and all options work. He just changes the rear gears, and haul ass. It is different, but if the car is balanced at all four corners, clean air, drag radials, a proper aero package, in this cars case, a motor that has the brute force to push it to those speeds on multiple runs and a driver who knows what he can and cannot do, he can pull this off. This car had a feature on it a few years ago. The kid built it off second hand parts. A kid (18-21yr old) built this car, and it's not even a Bonneville runner.

Hmm I agree with you but about 20 years ago I drove from Chicago to just outside of Milwaukee Wi a distance of 96 miles in a hour flat. Wouldn't think of doing it now although I do tend to stay about six MPH over the speed limit
( I was listening to Sammy when I did that. LOL

PO1 John Crafton - EXACTLY!!!! All the hype and no substance. She spends more time in the pits or behind the wall than anyone else with a major sponsor. Hell her teammates both are awesome drivers, and she can't get info from them? Smoke and Bush? Two really good drivers. The point of NASCAR I understand why. But her level of driving is not with the Cup cars, she should've stayed in the junior leagues longer. I would've had her stay in the Infinity or Campworld series so she could mature more as a driver.

No NASCAR "Driver" Can drive, but in a circle. That is why there is never a circle track driver that wins a road course. They can only turn left.
