If the aging B 52 is still in service, there is no reason the A-10 cannot keep flying!

Yes, and the B52 is expected to still be in service with the USAF up to and possibly beyond the year 2045

I am pumped over the smart cluster bombs the USAF has. Much of the principle of bombers was area targeting. The USAF has 1000 lbs. bombs that dispurses many cluster bombs that actually hunt for hard targets. Now they have the huge capability of precision bombing from the bombers. I am no expert, but I believe one B-52 can wipe out many enemy armored vehicles. Probably divisions at a time.

Even though I'm a bomber guy, I've been a fan of the A-10 since getting a briefing on it from the Program Manager while attending SOS in the 70s. While he was briefing he got the word that a production decision had been made. We were the first to know it had been approved.
