I read from their technical leads that the young kids are more willing to use this especially for behavioral health. They are more comfortable using this than talking to an in-person provider.

Is that good or bad MAJ Charles Blake?

SGT (Join to see) - I think it's good. Any forum or medium that a person can get real help is, well - really helpful.

MAJ Charles Blake - I remember when I first went to the VA for help, I was interviewed by a psychologist. When she came in her office, I was really pissed she was Vietnamese. I was totally screwed up, contemplating suicide, and they assign a Vietnamese to me. I had another breakdown right there. You have to realize I was really screwed up. It had been 31 years of denial. It turned out she was my saving grace. From then on we talked a lot. I went into group therapy for six months, five days a week. So, what I'm fumbling around with is that had I not made those decisions, well, I'm not sure what would have happened. So, getting help is the keyword regardless how it's gotten.

Hands on care giving will always be number one. Too many things can go wrong with doing a differential diagnosis "sight unseen".

This is a Good Idea but nothing replaces the Care Giver being there to look and check you out...
