There are some serious accuracy concerns with any online hearing test. Personally, in not a fan.

Sure thing. Online screenings usually have some major deficiences that can make results look much worse. For any hearing test to considered a medical-legal document, it has to be conducted in a sound-treated area that uses acoustically optimized equipment. Online hearing tests usually are conducted in areas were ambient noises artificially inflate low frequency test scores.

Self test features also usually "calibrate" a test tone using some form of self-perception. The problem there is that hearing is a sense. I can perceive something differently than someone else even though the true decibel level is the same. It is difficult to accurately determine a hearing theshold if true audiometric zero cannot be determined.

Just my opinions though.
