You're not a bad person. I wouldn't say that about anyone who has served this nation. However, you are a very misguided person and acting like an asshole who insists on digging the hole a little deeper with each post. You vilify a person (a better person than you) simply because they disagree with you. I can't think of anything worse to say about anyone

Capt Gregory Prickett - "served the country."

Scalia didn't serve the country. He harmed it beyond belief.

CPT (Verify To See) - Just because you don't agree with my politics doesn't automatically mean that I am a "troll." Some of you right wingers say FAR worse things about Hillary Clinton, President Obama, or the Black Lives Matter movement. Does that make you trolls?

Capt Gregory Prickett - I care more about getting my opinions out than arguing with some people who have proven over and over again that they will never listen to what I have to say. By posting these points of view, I wish more to put the information out there for the users of RP, some of whom don't post, to see, instead of trying to have a five hour long debate.

PFC Harry Leuchen - I've got to give you credit for persistence. You're down 11 on this topic and I'm up 26 on my response to it. Does that tell you anything? Well, it tells me that one of us is out of step. Now, there's nothing wrong with doing your own way, marching to the beat of a different drummer, doing your own thing, but at some point you have to wonder: Am I missing something? Have you ever wondered?

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response, were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Look, I'm screaming liberal compared to many of the people around here, but huh? Disagree with Scalia all you want, but there's no evidence he did anything with malice. He had a framework of interpretation that took him to some uncomfortable places but he stuck with it. He also spoke highly of his ideological opponents on the Court. Yes, I disagree with him on a number of points but he brought balance to the court (A balance I believe should be maintained).

Also, reveling in his death while excoriating him for his position on capital punishment seems a touch nonsensical. Standing against capital punishment is asserting that all life has value - including the lives of those that we deem unworthy of it.

He was a personal friend of Justice Ginsburg, in spite of their totally opposite views.
