This is an old practice, many farmers have used it across the globe for centuries. BUT let them tell you its a new practice or undiscovered. I use the wild bees and wasps to protect my plants from caterpillars and lizards to protect them from ants and lady bugs to protect them from aphids, with the occasional mantis pod hatched and the babies released.
