Army guys need to understand that. MEUs go to hot spots in the world and wait for orders. The Navy and USMC are also the tip of the spear!

Nice story MAJ (Join to see), thanks for sharing. We dont have leaders like him left. What I do find interesting is his medals. As a four star general, his highest award below the MH is a Legion of Merit, followed by a Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal which he has prior to his Purple Heart. I believe the PH is higher in order of precedence. I also would have expected him to have some higher decorations.
