Tortorella, Marshall weigh in on national anthem

Many of you will say that the NHL isn't a sport or that their aren't any blacks playing in the league. Neither of these are true. What is true is that it is truly an international national sport. The Tampa Bay Lightning, for whom i worked for 8 great years has 9 Americans, 9 Canadians, 3 Russians, 2 Swedes, 2 Czechoslovakians , and one Finnish players. All of these different nationalities stand and show respect for the National Anthem of both the US and Canada. At the moment Coach Tortorella is Coaching the US team in the World Cup of Hockey. If you take the time to watch all the players for all the teams involved will stand for the National Anthem of
all Countries, not only their own. Does that mean that Hockey players are better than football players, hell no. They are all very wealthy people being paid to play a game. What the hell am I trying to say here, maybe it is just that if all these nationalities can show the respect due to the flag and National Anthem why the hell can't the AMERICANS in the NFL do the same.
