Love him! Uncertain when this video was made, but VERY timely! I'll post on Twitter, let's all try to make this educational video go viral. Thanks for sharing!

For this to truly resonate, you have to have this apply to EVERYONE and EVERYTHING! It can't just be about the person, position, or viewpoint that you support. You can't talk of people castigating "anyone wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat" and ignore people referring to a candidate as "Killary" "Bitch" or other colorful references. BLUF, you have to show respect and as we all know, respect goes up AND comes down.

And since you wanted to bring up little old ladies getting assaulted...

Why not? Yes, I see people referring to Hillary disrespectfully on Internet posts. They don't do it around me in person because I won't let them anymore than I would let anyone refer to President Obama disrespectfully in my presence. Do you want to know why? I doubt it, but here you go anyway. People who act disrespectfully towards my political opponent, no matter how justified, not only denigrate the authority and strength of their own words, but also mine. When people hear me speak out against Hillary, President Obama, or Leftists, they dismiss me as one of those nut jobs who says disrespectful things. This allows them to ignore the substance of what I say (like you do). Now, for the substance... There is absolute proof of what I say about Leftists assaulting little old ladies at Trump events, stealing Trump yard signs, and castigating someone wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat. I have a friend, a veteran who is battling life-threatening cancer, who, on his way to rejoin his family on the other coast, was assailed by such an idiot in Boulder, Colorado while he filled his tank, just because he had a Trump sticker on his car's bumper. Someone else covered it with a Hillary sticker while he slept in a motel along the road. I could recount many more such instances. However, as I said, I've seen not one surveillance video of people stealing Hillary yard signs. I have not seen one news report of Trump supporters assaulting little old ladies at a Hillary event. I have not seen or heard of Trump supporters verbally assaulting anyone because they were wearing Hillary paraphernalia. So now, who is demonstrating "love" of their fellow Americans? Who is respecting them? No, I'm not writing this for your benefit. I know that you will dismiss it without thought. I am writing for others who stumble across this discussion so that they know they are not alone if they refuse to support a criminal politician like Hillary.

On the contrary, I'm not dismissing you at all BUT you are trying to apply this to things you have seen personally. Like I've said, respect goes up AND comes down and doesn't matter if you see it personally or if it affects you directly.

Patriotism should not have to be forced, we should love our country and its people for what it is and what it has to offer. But as we are seeing this isn't the case. I was taught from a very young age respect for my country, those that fight for it whether it's the military, firefighters, police officers, for my elders, for my flag and anthem. I think we have gone backwards in regards to giving and getting respect. The problem with these candidates running particularly the REP and DEM front Runner is that they do not earn respect when all they do is throw disparaging remarks about one another and their parties, have nothing nice to say, would rather spend time making the other person or party look bad than work on their own failures. Smear campaigns to me are like children calling each other names and whining to mommy (the media) when it hurts their feelings or offends. The Candidates don't do themselves any good when they don't focus on what they know and how to do better for the country. That's just my two cents.
