Epic scene from the movie "the final countdown"
LTC (Join to see) one of the best scenes in the film was the encounter between the Zeros and the Tomcats. The reaction from the Tomcat pilot when he comes to the realization that despite being superior in every way to the Zero, they can still be shot by the Zero.

I taught the F14 egress and environmental systems. Made two deployments with the aircraft. It was a great fighter but it was every tough to keep the aircraft in a full up status.
