Great share! I am disgusted by cancel culture. These fools have defaced a memorial honoring an all lack volunteer civil war Unit that was featured in the movie “Glory”. They also tore down a statue of Fredrick Douglass. They are ignorant jerks with an apology to jerks. I am glad you found the coins as a protest.

I'm sure some of those people that are reading this are the ones who canceled me and can't fathom the fact that you have cities that are destroying and imploding from within. They want to get rid of statues that mean things but they don't want to improve the way of life of the people or constituents in their area. I love rubbing it in especially with this.

Even though she didn't win the Congressional seat, the message is clear, they care about power but they don't care about improving The Human Condition and all of a sudden they switched to being a sanctuary City and turning what little land is left into internment camps for the legals so they can become future Democratic voters at the expense of the people around them at the same time they could cancel the culture we have.

In 2001, the Salvadorian switched over to the American dollar. They wanted to stable currency, they didn't have this insatiable anger against Columbus.

I also have a 1910 coin of balboa. I'm sure he killed indigenous people but I don't care. I'm a coin collector and it's in uncirculated condition.

I also recently got a 1949 Canadian silver dollar with Cabot discovering Newfoundland and Labrador in Northeast canada. I don't care if there was genocide involved, I just like the coin!

Yep. Columbus as a person sucked.

But nonetheless he opened "the new world" to both of our ancestors, SFC Kelly Fuerhoff . America as we know would quite literally not exist if it wasn't for him. And without America, WWI would have turned out quite different, as well.

So, like it or not, the entire world owes "that hypothetical, navigating, son of a gun, Columbo" a debt of gratitude.
