Capt Brandon Charters - I read the transcripts . . . knew the orders . . . did not know the pilots were women . . . you think about your family . . . and the families of so many others . . . under these circumstances. I will have to meet these courageous young women. Warmest Regards, Sandy :)

1LT Sandy Annala I had never heard this particular account before. It seems like the decision was made instantly and any thought processes took place in the subconscious while maneuvering their planes onto course. If possible 100 million or more would ask you to deliver their respects along with yours.

One was, the other was Colonel Marc “Sass” Sasseville.
I have no doubt that both would have done what was necessary.
They went up knowing the possible outcome and both deserve our respect.

I loved reading this story Lt Col (Join to see) shared it with me and I was profoundly moved. It's humbling to know you are all out there ready, at a moments notice, to do what's needed to protect our nation.
