"ROTC presence promotes militarization of the university, exploits the poor"
No more than the LGBT club or groups on campus "Gays up" the remainder of the university.
No more than women's studies program turns the non participating campus females in to men hating, victim playing feminists
No more than... well you get the idea...
ROTC on campus provide an education diversity, an opportunity to those that Volunteer and Qualify to join an elite club, many are not eligible for by way of criminal history, physical or mental defect, personal ethical or moral inadequacies.

Amen.
...and obviously the progressive media tries to demean anything that deals with Integrity and Patriotism, they fail miserably, as moral fortitude begins at home.

Suspect the author would also complain that minority populations are underrepresented in the officer corps. Of course you can't actively recruit minorities or expect them to serve the country for a few years in exchange for an ROTC scholarship. Send her to a safe space where she's protected from micro aggressions like seeing a fellow student in uniform. What krap!

This is what Common Core and the infiltration of our educational system by proglibs tries to achieve. Safe Spaces all right, ones where they cannot leave and infect the rest of the population.

Interesting but I would have to disagree. The ROTC on any campus is usually such a small population that many don't even know it exists. Saying it militarizes the entire campus is completely off base.
