Detroit 1967 riot movie will film here — at least partly

I found out, by surfing the net , a movie is going to be made about the 1967 Detroit Riots. They are especially interested in the Algeirs motel shooting. I wrote an email to them and told them I was there and know how those three boys were killed. I told them if they are interested in the truth, write me back. Maybe this is the break I've been praying for, so you can tell the truth about those murders.

The upcoming movie about the 1967 Detroit riot from the Oscar-winning team of director Kathryn Bigelow and screenwriter Mark Boal takes place, of course, in the Motor City. But only some of it will be shot here.

Filming also is planned in Boston. And Hamtramck could be a double for Detroit.
