So I guess the orange weekly and the white daily anti malaria pills we took in Vietnam were totally safe,or were they?

That sounds like good news that soldiers have been directed to stop taking mefloquine after its use has been linked to deaths in rare cases SSG Carlos Madden
I hope there are other safer anti-malarial medications available to the troops and veterans for that matter.
