What the current political establishment fails to realize is that the country as a whole is extremely dissatisfied with where we are as a people and the overall direction of rules and legislation and regulations. When over 50% of the populous receive some sort of government hand out while the other 50% pays for it, we need reform. When terrorists are killing citizens and illegal immigrants are flooding over our boarders, we need reform. When cronyism and government over regulation is killing our economy, we need reform. I could go on and on but we can only get reform with new leadership. Paul Ryan and the rest of the current political establishment have had over 40 years to get things right....time for change.

What is it about the far left that creates such animosity, when Patriotism is mentioned. Perhaps if we threw in a few words in for Atheism, our resident I hate Republicans, would be pacified.

Illegal immigration is the lowest it's been since we've been recording, and is in fact a net negative with more people leaving than coming. This article isn't just biased, it's outright dishonest bullshit.

LTC (Join to see) - The last year or so has seen more illegals leaving than coming in and largely b/c of the Obama recovery that continues to fumble along. We still saw an overall net gain of illegals in the millions the last decade plus according to both the Census and Border Patrol estimates. That recent flow reversal hasn't done much to decrease that total.
And yes it's damn near 50% of Americans get some form of wealth transfer from the Federal government. The term handout may be offensive to some as it inc pensions/SS/SSS/ObamaCare/Medicare etc but that number remains ugly. The number who receive little or nothing but contribute has been going down as a percentage of total correspondingly

SFC Charles Temm - Not the last year, the last five years, because despite the (erroneous) claims of the right, Obama has been the toughest president of the last 50 years on immigration enforcement.
