Why the Marines decided to allow heavier women (and men in some cases) to serve

Did not increase the weight by much, might help out with increased strength for women, don't really see any need to increase the weight allowance for men. When I shipped to Basic I weighed in at a featherweight (98 pounds) came out 90 days later at 155 pounds, all upper body. Semper Fi.
